Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced that her state be closing its borders to all of Greater Sydney.
From 1am Saturday, nobody from Sydney will be allowed entry into Queensland.

“We are acting swiftly and that is exactly what we have been prepared for,”Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said of the measure.
“People must tell the truth. We need people to tell the truth. Now is not the time for Queenslanders to be going to Greater Sydney.
“Now is not the time for Queenslanders to be going to Victoria and that is why we have that hard border closure with Victoria.”
