Kylie Minogue, along with sister Danii and her family, have donated a whopping $500,000 to the Australian bushfire relief appeal.

Taking to Instagram, the Aussie singer wrote: “Last year I had the incredible opportunity of visiting some of the many beautiful places in my homeland for the first time. Returning home to such devastation throughout much of the country is heartbreaking.”

Minogue then went on to announce that as a family, she had donated $500,000 for the “immediate firefighting efforts and the ongoing support which will be required.”

She also provided a series of links for her followers to donate too, including the Australian Red Cross, NSW Rural Fire Service, Country Fire Authority, SA Country Fire Service and WIRES Wildlife Rescue.

Her announcement came shortly after Tourism Australia temporarily pulled their latest advertising campaign due to the fires. The ad, which Kylie features prominently in, has been removed as the bushfire crisis continues to worsen.
