A private Queensland school is closed for cleaning after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The woman, who works at Logan’s Parklands Christian College in the state’s southeast, returned the positive test late on Tuesday.
Queensland Health says work is underway to determine how the woman, who recently returned from interstate, contracted the illness.
She is in isolation and the school is closed for cleaning on Wednesday.
A fever clinic is reportedly going to be set up at the college – which caters for students from prep to year 12 – for testing of students and other employees.
Queensland has six active COVID-19 cases.
