The worker tested positive to the virus overnight.
The worker is a cleaner at Brisbane’s Hotel Grand Chancellor in Spring Hill. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk addressed the media about the positive case on Thursday.

The MP said, “It is very important for all Queenslanders to listen.”
Queenslanders who reside in, or have visited the following suburbs are urged to get tested if suffering any symptoms:
Algester
Sunnybank Hills
Calamvale
In a Twitter post, Palaszczuk shared, ” One of today’s new cases was overseas acquired and detected in hotel quarantine. The other is a worker at a quarantine hotel and contact tracing is underway.”
