As if we weren’t already Ash Barty’s biggest fan, the Aussie tennis superstar has just given us another BIG reason to love her.

After shooting to the world number one spot and doing all of Australia proud at the Nature Valley Classic tournament in Birmingham, Ash has been busy competing at one of the most prestigious tennis competitions, Wimbledon.

And while some Aussie’s who shan’t be named have been slightly embarrassing during the competition and their own press conferences, Ash has proved that the can do no wrong both on and off the court.

While speaking in her recent post-match press conferences, Ash not only addresses the media incredibly well, but she’s also been making some adorable Disney references during her speeches.

The trend was first noticed by ABC’s Offsider’s program, who posted the footage to Twitter, with the host Kelli Underwood speculating that she may have been dared to do so.

Speaking at her first post-match media conference a few days ago, Ash gave a reference to the Lion King, saying that she “came into [the match] thinking like Hakuna Matata”, which of course we all know means “no worries” thanks to Timon and Pumbaa.

During her next press conference, Barty made a Toy Story reference by quoting a famous saying by the iconic Buzz Lightyear character.

“I chat to my niece over and over and she just tells me, ‘You can’t go to infinity and beyond’.”

While it’s possible that Ash is just a MEGA Disney fan (because aren’t we all), the final instance truly makes it seems like she’s been dared into the stunt, making an obvious reference to a song from The Little Mermaid.

“I think for me sometimes I look at a shot, I play a shot, I think the seaweed is always greener in someone else’s lake,” she said.

Which of course we don’t have to tell you is a direct quote from ‘Under The Sea’.

Maybe she’s got a Disney obsession, maybe she lost a bet, heck, maybe she’s signed on with Disney to subtly promote all of their upcoming Live action films. Whatever the reason, we LOVE Ash’s dedication to our fav films.

Check out all of the Disney references in the video above!

Ash Barty will continue in Wimbledon today to take on American Alison Riske, who is ranked number 55 in the world at the moment.
