Officials say customers provided ‘illegible’ contact information to Brisbane pub upon checking in.

7 News Queensland reports that a health alert has been issued for pub patrons after a coronavirus-positive person attended.

On Friday, health officials confirmed The Glen Hotel in Eight Mile Plains was a venue of concern.

A New South Wales person who is linked to the ‘Avalon cluster’ entered Queensland and went to the pub on Wednesday, December 16, between 11am and 2.30pm.

Contact tracers scrambled to identify anyone who was there at the same time and advised them to test for COVID-19 immediately.

Queensland Health issued an alert that multiple patrons could not be found late on Friday.

“Contact tracers have identified patrons from bookings who either provided illegible manual sign-in information or did not check in at the venue,” it said in a statement.

If you visited this location at that time, you should contact Queensland Health urgently.
