A report has come in over the weekend about a rental property in Sydney that saw 200 people lining up in the blistering 35C heat to get a look inside.
With competition so tight, the pressure is on for renters to JUMP on any property they feel might be a good fit, application in hand.
The property in question was a three-bedroom, two bathroom terrace with built-in robes, a spa bath, a double car port and a balcony coming off the main bathroom, in Stanmore.
Worth a whopping $1.6 million, the owners were asking for $860-a-week for the stunning terrace, hence the stampede of people turning up to inspect.
People were literally lining the leafy street to get inside the home, which is only a seven-minute walk to the station.
It seems Stanmore is the place to be, with a record number of houses sold in the last week of December 2016, and the inner west leading the way with 82.6 per cent of auctions closing.
