There are two types of people in this world.
Type A: Can jump out of bed the second their alarm clock starts beeping, full of energy and ready to tackle the day.
Type 2: Hits snooze seven times until they’re ridiculously late, skips breakfast as a result and uses dry shampoo instead of washing their already greasy hair.
Now science has revealed that people who fall into the ‘type two’ category are doing far more harm than good.
Every time we snooze our body falls into a deeper sleep than the sleep that came before it and by hitting that seductive snooze button we are messing with our body’s natural sleep cycle.
This causes that terrible groggy feeling to last much longer into the day than it would if we just got up when our alarms first went off.
Apparently the answer is to just get up when we first here the alarm, but even the thought of that just seems impossible.
Maybe we should invest in one of these…
