Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced the state has recorded no new cases of community infections overnight.

It comes as Greater Brisbane enters a snap 3 day lock-down to try and stop the spread of a mutant strain of Coronavirus from the UK.

The strain is thought to be 70% more transmissible than other strains of COVID.
