This has to be one of the most inspirational transformations we’ve ever seen.
Justine McCabe, 31, had hit rock bottom after she lost her husband Paul to suicide last February.
She was grieving and was also at her heaviest, weighing 141 kilos.
Three months after Paul’s death, her friends and family tried to get Justine outside more and eventually she agreed to go to the gym.
The Mum-of-two said she immediately felt better upon visiting the gym and decided then and there to make some drastic changes in her life.
Justine started by taking a selfie facing the mirror, wearing just her underwear.
She continued to do this every day for a year to document her weight loss journey.
She also worked out six times a week and embarked on a clean eating regime.
Justine also set herself some challenges based on things she was scared of which included travelling alone, skydiving and climbing the Eiffel Tower!
“Having a loved one commit suicide and being in the aftermath of that is one of the most fearful, awful things you can go through.
“The death of my husband shook me awake and made me realise I needed to make a lot of changes. “After having time to re-evaluate my life while working out, I came to the conclusion I needed to pursue my dreams and tackle my fears – I needed to truly live,” Justine said.
And it really looks like she has embraced life and all it has to offer with two hands.
