A Perth mother who gave birth to healthy quintuplets in January of this year has shared a collection of professional photos of her beautiful babies, asleep in soft pastel wraps.
Kim and Vaughn Tucci welcomed the five babies – a son, Keith, and four daughters – Ali, Penelope, Tiffany and Beatrix into the world on January 28, 2016.
The heart-warming photos taken by photographer Erin Elizabeth, were posted on Ms Tucci’s website and social media profiles before coming a hit.
The Western Australian parents shared that they change 350 dirty nappies a week and feed each infant eight times a day.
26-year old Ms Tucci, has said the task of caring for five babies can be overwhelming at times but the couple are the ‘happiest they have ever been in their life’.
‘No-one thought I could do it, and I did, I showed everyone in my life. So, I think it’s the first time that I’ve actually been proud of myself,’ Ms Tucci recently told 60 Minuets in an interview.
The tasks the young family face daily, has been taking its toll. The 26-year old mother has said sometimes she ‘locks herself in the bathroom and cries on the floor’ as she adapts to life with seven children all under five years of age. “You just gotta do it. We haven’t got a choice.”
The beautiful images capture a rare moment of peace in the family with the quintuplets sleeping.
The family have setup a Go Fund Me to assist in buying a nine-seater car so they can safely get out and about.
