If you’re a Big Mac LOVER, no doubt you’re stomping your feet right now, adamant that your favourite burger stay EXACTLY the way it is… right?

McDonald’s is said to be testing bigger and smaller versions of its Big Mac in the US in a bid to satisfy the tastebuds of everyone around the world.

Basically now, it’s a Goldilocks situation; a perfect burger for you. You may like a smaller, single pattie Big Mac or a “Mac Jr”, you may love your Big Mac the way it is – or you may want to opt for a “Grand Mac” and upsize your experience, without all the extra fries.

Apparently, some people have complained that the regular Big Mac is too “skimpy”, so they’ve created the “Grand Mac”, which is made with two “third-pound” beef patties. You can get it for around $6.25 Australian.

The Mac Junior is the single-layer Big Mac that’s “easier to eat on the go” and will sell for around $3.30 Australian.


According to a report on news.com.au, McDonald’s Corp has been fighting to turn around its business after seeing customer visits decline in recent years.

Let’s hope the surge in Big Mac-ness will help!
