Complaints about smells around residential areas west of Brisbane have jumped by more than 30 per cent as more people worked from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

New figures have revealed the state government’s Odour Abatement Taskforce, based in the Swanbank Industrial area, received more than 4400 odour reports in 2020 – with Ripley residents complaining the most.

With thousands of complaints continuing to be made, Laurel, Gary & Mark called in Sarah Rowe, a member of the Queensland Odour Abatement Taskforce to reveal what’s causing this putrid smell!
