Things have been ramping up in the Fifty Shades department lately.
After going quiet following the release of the first movie and rewrite of Fifty Shades Of Grey from Christian Grey’s point of view, we’re once again being teased of what’s to come.
While we patiently wait for the new trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, E.L. James has decided to provide fans with a treat in the form of a new book!
Taking to Facebook, the author told fans that in celebration of Anastasia’s birthday, she was sharing an excerpt from the novel.
A follow up to Fifty Shades Darker, the book will be a rewrite – this time from Christian’s point of view.
Taken from the first pages, it shows a nervous Christian waiting to reunite with Anastasia.
It comes as Mr Grey himself, Jamie Dornan, ruled out a return to the series for any future films.
Telling fans he’s done with the series “forever”, Dornan said after filming the final two movies he’s ready to move on.
“We have done two movies back to back now, and I’m actually finished with it. I’ve done Fifty Shades forever,” he told The Sun.
“I move on very fast in my mind. As much as from the outside people think you are synonymous with one character, but I’m very much like, ‘Right, that’s done’ and move on to the next project and worry about that character.”
The final two flicks are expected to hit cinemas ahead of Valentine’s Day 2017 and 2018 – two years after the first instalment.
With filming wrapping up last month, it’s been rumoured we’ll get to see a whole lot more of Dornan in the upcoming flicks – aka the full monty.
When asked if it was true however, the actor teased fans refusing to give a definite answer.
“The truth is that I don’t know the answer to that. You’ll have to wait and see,” he told ET Online.
