In honor of Valentine’s Day, a 17-year-old from Utah gave a flower to all the 834 girls at his high school. 

Hayden Godfrey’s gift was the result of years of planning, after first having the idea in middle school. 

The high school senior had been known to anonymously send flowers to dozens of friends every Valentine’s Day but this year he decided to take the gesture up a notch and make “as many people as possible” happy. 

According to ABC news, he worked at McDonald’s, a Mexican restaurant and a grocery to pay for the flowers, saving for a year and a half. 

Godfrey’s girlfriend, Lilyan Sharp, 19, said his mass gift was “very special” and said every girl had a “giant smile on their face”.
