You’ll remember recently a family portrait of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her seven grandchildren was released.
The photo was taken by Annie Leibovitz and shows baby Charlotte on the Queen’s lap with George standing mischievously next to her.
One thing you may not have paid much attention to is the sweet rosy-cheeked two-year-old on the other side of her. Mia Tindall stood there sweetly – and innocently, even helpfully holding the Queen’s purse and looking very pleased about it.
Now, her father Mike Tindall (the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Phillips’ husband) has revealed that the photo actually showcases little Mia’s “naughty behaviour.”
Talking to Good Morning Britain, Mike said, ”It just happened at the right time. She was being a bit naughty. The Queen got it quite right when she told her ‘just hold the handbag now’ and she did that. It ended up being a great photo of her.” ‘It just turned out to be the right photo at the right time and it will be something we’ll always cherish, I think,’ he added.
‘She’s got quite a little personality on her, and we encourage that.”
