Bruce Williamson, the former lead singer for The Temptations, has died at 49.
The news was confirmed in a Facebook post by his son, where he wrote: “There’s no words in the world that can express how I feel right now.
“I love you Daddy thank you for being awesome thank you for being loving thank you for being Who You Are.”
Williamson reportedly joined the band in 2007 and left in 2015.
Since the group’s formation nearly 60 years ago, its lineup has changed frequently. They are still best known for the hits ‘My Girl’ and ‘Ain’t Too Proud To Beg’.
