High demand for the highly popular Nintendo Classic Mini NES video game has sent Target’s website into meltdown today.

Customers were left infuriated after sitting in checkout queues online for hours. 

Target released a fresh batch of the $99 game for sale online this morning. 

Disappointed customers have taken to social media to to complain of website glitches and waiting in checkout for up to four hours, only to have the website crash before payment was processed. 

According to The Herald Sun, Target’s Twitter account recently confirmed the console had sold out, and that it had received “a huge amount of traffic”.
