While Circular Quay is DEFINITELY worth a wander around, it’s no secret that it’s tricky to find somewhere decent to eat.
But not for long! The gorgeous waterfront touristy spot is about to undergo a huge overhaul and heaps of new – and amazing-sounding – restaurants are moving in.
Oh, and doors are set to open next month. How good?
The new development will be called Gateway Sydney, and will include eateries like Burger Project, Chat Thai and Din Tai Fung’s.
And for dessert? None other than Gelato Messina and a slew of Adriano Zumbo’s perfect pastries, please.
All up we’re in for more than 25 new dining venues, open seven days a week from early til late.
Liann Liam, a development manager at DEXUS Development Group, the company responsible for the makeover, said the new area is certainly something to look forward to.
“The intent was to open up the Circular Quay end of the CBD, which we have done with great respect to the existing environment,” he explained.
“The surrounds set a spectacular stage for a dramatic dining experience to unfold, with each of our retailers serving their dishes with an element of theatre.”
Knives and forks at the ready, foodies. This is gonna be good.
