It’s been almost five years since the end of the movie franchise, but we can’t get enough Potter news!
Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, has revealed that he doesn’t think Ron and Hermione (Emma Watson) would have made it as a couple.
In fact, he thinks they would have ended in DIVORCE.
He told The Huffington Post the news at Universal Orlando’s A Celebration Of Harry Potter Event, he said: “I would expect Ron has probably divorced Hermione already. I don’t think that relationship would have done very well.”
Although, to be completely fair even though opposites attract, Hermione and Ron were never a good fit for each other.
Yes, he’s loyal and kind but she’s so ambitious!
Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Katie Leung (Cho Chang), were also at the event, but Lynch had a different take.
“Don’t say divorced. Say they’ve split up. They can reconcile,” she said.
The interviewer suggested Ron might try Tinder but that he may not do so well. Lewis chimed in and painted a sad portrait of Ron “living in a one-bedroom studio apartment all alone, doing nothing.”
He’d still have Harry as a friend, right?
Lynch had a much happier picture of what Luna would be up to now…
“I think Luna would have an adventure documentary series. She becomes a naturalist, and I think she’d travel the world and have a show. I could be a wildlife narrator.”
… J.K Rowling? Yes, we’d like a spinoff. Thanks.
