Is Rod Stewart about to rival the Kardashians or the Osbournes? According to British tabloid The Mirror, the 70-year-old rocker and his family have started filming a reality show for E! at their home in Los Angeles.

The Mirror claims Rod agreed to do the series with his wife, 43-year-old model Penny Lancaster, and their two children, 9-year-old Alastair and four-year-old Aiden. The singer’s kids from his first marriage — 34-year-old Sean and 35-year-old Kimberly — are also said to have “prominent” roles.

Rod has four other children: Ruby, 27, Renee, 22, Liam, 20, and Sarah Streeter, 52, who was raised by an adoptive family. He’s also a grandfather to Kimberly’s daughter with actor Benicio Del Toro.

A source close to the family reportedly said, “Rod is very proud of his family and he wants to show everyone that. He will star very much as the dad, and it will show he has kept things together.”

According to The Mirror, the partially scripted show will begin airing in June. “The family hopes it is the start of something big,” the source said. But for now, we’re taking all this with a grain of salt.
