Ringo Starr is back in the studio, recording what will be his 20th studio album.
The former Beatles drummer was pictured in a photograph posted to Facebook last week with All Starr Band/Toto guitarist Steve Lukather and recording engineer Bruce Sugar.
Sugar captioned the shot, “Another great day in the studio.”
Ringo tweeted a shot of himself and Lukather later the same day.
In the studio again with the great Steve Lukather what a guy peace and Love. 😎✌️🌟💖🏋🏻♀️💕🐘🍒🦏☮️ pic.twitter.com/dbgs4teP4x

“He has been working on a new record for a few months,” a Ringo representative confirmed to Billboard.
It’s too early to tell when the new album might be released.
Ringo’s last studio effort was 2017’s Give More Love. He also recorded drums for a song on Jenny Lewis’ latest album.
Between making music in the studio and on stage and being knighted last year, Ringo has kept himself pretty busy.
The music icon and his band are back on tour this month in Japan, with live dates booked through September.
