It has been 23 years since Prince Harry, brother William and the late Diana visited Disney World and rode the Splash Mountain.

But that moment has not been forgotten by a now 31-year-old Harry.

So when he found himself in Orlando, Florida to host the Invictus Games – a sports tournament for wounded armed force veterans – he thought he would re-visit the site he remembers so fondly.

One of the iconic photos that circulated at the time was one with Prince Harry, William and their mother on the Splash Mountain ride.

It looks as though the royal had just as much fun the second time around…

Speaking to The US version of Today Harry reminisced on the days of old.

“That was very happy memories,” Harry recalled.

“It’s a huge shame she’s not here, but I hope she’d be incredibly proud of what we managed to achieve.”

Earlier this year Harry spoke to People magazine about his mother and how he hopes to continue her legacy through his own charity work and the creation of the Invictus games.

“All I want to do is make my mother incredibly proud,” he said. “That’s all I’ve ever wanted to do.”

“When she died, there was a gaping hole, not just for us but also for a huge amount of people across the world.

“If I can try and fill a very small part of that, then job done. I will have to, in a good way, spend the rest of my life trying to fill that void as much as possible. And so will William.”
