Paul Kantner co-founder and guitarist of Jefferson Airplane has died aged 74.
Kantner died of multiple organ failure after suffering a heart attack earlier in the week. He had health issues in recent years and had a heart attack in March 2015.
His publicist Cynthia Bowman confirmed his passing in a statement on the San Fransisco Chronicle.
Jefferson Airplane appeared in the psychedelic rock scene in 1965.
