The first trailer for the upcoming television movie ‘Urban Myths’ has dropped, giving us the first look at Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson. Paris Jackson, has taken to Twitter to share her disgust over the controversial casting.
Urban Myths : A Brand New Collection of Comedies reimagines the urban legend about the King of Pop’s road trip with Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Last year Fiennes copped backlash when it was announced that he, a white British male, had been cast as the late Michael Jackson.
Nearly a year on, the trailer has officially dropped and many, including Paris, are shocked after seeing their first glimpse of Fiennes’ Michael Jackson.
Watch the trailer below and see the portrayal of the King Of Pop yourself (be warned: it can’t be unseen!). Keep your eyes peeled for Eddie Marsan as Bob Dylan, Iwan Rheon, Game of Thrones’ Ramsay Bolton, as Adolf Hitler, Brian Cox as Marlon Brando and Stockard Channing as Liz Taylor.
