Pop star Robbie Williams’ plans to build a luxury extension at his London home have neighbour Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page officially complaining.

The $28 million mansion of former Take That singer is being updated and modernized to include a recording studio, also reducing the size of swimming pool.

Williams’ application states he wants a “contemporary standard of family living” for the house he bought in 2013, leaving other neighbourhood residents less than impressed, including Page.

Britain’s The Sun newspaper reports that Page sent a complaint to London’s Kensington and Chelsea Council voicing his frustrations that a window in the plans will overlook his garden and create an eyesore to their neighbourhood .

A decision is expected next month.
