Bob Barnard got an earful from an African Moon Moth at a recent visit to the museum.
The Washington, DC reporter was at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History for a live interview when the opportunistic moth struck.
First perching on his shirt, the moth made its way up to Barnard’s ear – and promptly laid two eggs.
The reporter shared a photo of the eggs inside his ear on Twitter – looks a bit like a piercing, but we all know what it actually is.
We don’t feel so good.
