A young boy was shown on TV eating a whole watermelon at the Melbourne Cricket Ground while watching the Big Bash League on Saturday.
He became an instant viral hit, starting the Twitter hashtag #watermelonboy.
The 10-year-old was sitting in the crowd, minding his own business and eating the ENTIRE watermelon, skin and all.

Viewers became more interested in whether the boy would finish the whole watermelon than the outcome of the cricket match.
