The 80s cult classic is getting a modern remake, with a pilot already ordered by CBS for the series.
Sadly, don’t expect Richard Dean Anderson to reprise the role.
The series will follow a ’20 something’ Angus MacGyver.
“He gets recruited into a clandestine organisation where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening,” The Hollywood Reporter said.
Director James Wan (Fast and Furious) and Executive Producer Henry Winkler (Happy Days) have been linked to the project.

#CBS is rebooting McGyver using only a stick of chewing gum, a piece of tin foil and the tip of a ball point pen.
