Laurel, Gary and Mark love a good costume and a chance to get on stage, so visiting Brisbane’s oldest theatre had them in their element!

We were given an all access pass to explore the Brisbane Arts Theatre on Petrie Terrace ahead of Brisbane’s Open House this weekend.

Walking the halls where famous actors have walked, sitting in the seat where Geoffrey Rush would get ready backstage, (attempting to) entertain an audience with Shakespeare…

Brisbane Open House gives locals a behind the scenes look at some of the city’s iconic buildings – from the Roma St Fire Station, the Planetarium, Customs House, Brisbane City Hall, a number of community centres, churches and much much more.
