Prince William and Kate Middleton have made a conscious effort to keep the late Princess Diana in their lives.
And they’ve again reminded us that she is forever in their thoughts and hearts.
We’re loving this latest subtle gesture from Kate paying tribute at the Diplomatic Reception at the weekend at Buckingham Palace.
Joined in a photo with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, Camilla and Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge can been seen wearing Diana’s favourite tiara – the Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara.
Diana was seen wearing the headpiece on a number of occasions while on duty, after the tiara was gifted to her as a wedding present.
Kate first wore the piece at the Diplomatic Reception last year, and brought the pearl encrusted item out once more at this year’s event.
The tiara was made in 1914 from a collection of pearls and diamonds that were owned by the royal family.

The design was one of Queen Mary’s own.
