Fashion mogul Karl Lagerfeld has reportedly turned down a cameo appearance in Ben Stiller’s Zoolander sequel after confessing he was not a fan of the actor’s catwalk stunt at a recent Valentino show in Paris, France.
Lagerfeld, who had an uncredited role in the original movie back in 2001, reveals he was approached to appear in the fashion comedy’s sequel, but turned the opportunity down.
He tells Hello! magazine, “I don’t want to be in the movie!”
He recently revealed he wasn’t a fan of Stiller and co-star Owen Wilson’s recent gag appearance at Paris Fashion Week, adding, “I didn’t like it.”
But Stiller won’t be short of stars for the Zoolander sequel – model Karlie Kloss and Kanye West have reportedly signed on for roles.
