Well, that is one way to mark the milestone?
Dame Judi Dench chose her 81st birthday an appropriate celebration to permanently remember by getting inked.
The actor had ‘Carpe Diem’ inscribed on her wrist – a phrase that she considers to be her life motto, meaning ‘seize the day’.

The gift was thanks to her daughter.
“That’s my motto: Seize the day,” Dench said.
“My daughter Finty gave it to me for my 81st birthday — she’s wonderful with surprises.”
For many the phrase was immortalized in the movie Dead Poet’s Society, when the late Robin Williams uttered the words while playing a wise and imaginative teacher.
The Oscar winner actually turned 81 in December, but only shared the story behind her tattoo with Surrey Life magazine this week.
The tattoo was a surprising breath of fresh air in the UK, a lone entertainment story trending alongside all of the Brexit and political news.
