Jennifer Lopez is apparently the reason that Google Image Search came into existence.

A recent article from Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt reveals that JLo’s revealing green dress, which she wore to the Grammys in 2000, was the catalyst for the search engine adding an image search function.

“At the time, [the dress] was the most popular search query we had ever seen,” Schmidt writes.

“But we had no surefire way of getting users exactly what they wanted: JLo wearing that dress. Google Image Search was born.”

Thanks JLo!
