Jeff Bridges is joining the cast of Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

The True Grit actor made the announcement via Twitter on Saturday by simply posting a promotional photo of an alcoholic beverage beside the message: “The only Golden Circle I want vexing me is the one my glass leaves behind on the table”.

He simply captioned it: “#Kingsman”.

It has since been confirmed Jeff will star in the upcoming sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s hit action-comedy Kingsman: The Secret Service.

He will join Taron Egerton, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum and Sir Elton John in the sequel, which will further chronicle the exploits of Taron’s character Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin, an erstwhile London hooligan who has been trained in the art of heroics by officials at a secret spy organisation.

In addition, despite their characters’ deaths in the first film, Colin Firth and Edward Holcroft are also returning, although in what capacity remains unknown. They’ll also be joined by Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal.

The film will hit theatres in June, 2017.
