He’s known for being Borat and Bruno and being hilariously inappropriate, but did you know that Sacha Baron Cohen actually has a huge heart?

In fact, he and his wife, Aussie legend Isla Fisher have just done a pretty incredible thing.

They opened their hearts – and their wallets – this Christmas.

They have just welcomed their third child in April of this year, which may be part of the reason they decided to donate a WHOPPING $US1 million to Syrian refugees, according to The New York post.

A lump sum of $US500,000 was given to Save The Children, which will provide measles vaccinations to over 250,000 kids.

The other half was given to the International Rescue Committee, and will offset costs of education, health care, housing and sanitation for women and children.

“By allowing us to make their generous donation to Syrian children public, Sacha and Isla are helping highlight the tragedy of the issue today,” said Justin Forsyth, chief executive of Save the Children.

“These are desperate times for Syrian families facing bombs, bullets and torture in Syria. The couple’s donation will save many thousand of lives and protect some of the most vulnerable children.”
