Passengers on a NYC subway were recently treated to a pitch perfect classical music performance but even the string quartet would have predicted their music to be accompanied by an impromptu ballet performance.

Approximately two minutes into the below video a group of ballet dancers in casual clothes begin to dance in front of the string ensemble as they play Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 adding another beautiful element to the number.

While ever so simple, the musicians seemed to enjoy their accompaniment and continued to play through to the end of the piece.

This video follows up another NYC busking viral sensation a few weeks ago when a young girl spurred on a dance party in the middle of a subway platform.

Watch the video below to see how dance and music can break down barriers and entertain – even if impromptu in a subway.
