Hollywood has lost one of its greats this week.
Director Garry Marshall has reportedly passed away, aged 81.
Marshall had a huge influence over television in the 1970s and ’80s before going on to numerous blockbuster movies.
Some of his notable creations include Happy Days, Mork and Mindy, The Odd Couple and Laverne and Shirley.

He also directed movies such as Beaches, Runaway Bride, Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries 1 & 2.

Marshall also headed the star-studded movies Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Day and Mother’s Day.

The director is survived by his wife Barbara Marshall, sister Penny Marshall and three children.
