Hugh Jackman, 47, has always been very open about his skin cancer procedures in the past and on Monday he revealed he’s had his fifth skin cancer in two years removed from his face.
The Aussie actor shared a selfie on Instagram showing his bandaged nose and the caption:
“An example of what happens when you don’t wear sunscreen. Basal Cell. The mildest form of cancer but serious, nonetheless. PLEASE USE SUNSCREEN and get regular check-ups.”
Jackman first revealed he’d had some cancerous cells removed in 2013.
The first time he discovered the cancer spots was when a makeup artist found a spot of blood on his nose while he was filming X-Men.
Now, the actor gets his skin checked every three months.
“The beauty of this is it’s all preventable. It’s just about getting proper check-ups. I can be a typical man, I couldn’t be bothered and now I’m not lazy at all”.
