All of the party preparations don’t have to happen right before the event. Spare yourself a headache, and get invites, decorations, music playlists, and your festive outfit sorted well in advance.

The week of the party, get your grocery lists in order, and plan your party snacks and food, as well as what drinks will be on offer.

The day of the party, start your food prep early to give yourself plenty of time – and don’t forget to take some time out for a quick cup of tea and to put your feet up before your guests arrive.

In terms of food must haves, there is no better way to kick off your party than with a selection of enticing dips, alongside a colourful snack platter.

Create an instant atmosphere for your party by inviting a couple of your close friends over a little earlier, to help you finish setting out the last of the drinks and snacks, and to help fill the room a little before the official start time of your party.

Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy the night yourself! Have a dance, offer guests drinks – but have some yourself, and enjoy your party!
