It’s been quite a week of loss for the world, losing both David Bowie, and British actor Alan Rickman to cancer, both aged 69.
Bowie’s passing resulted in tributes around the flooding in, with many fans choosing to post a photo of the ‘star man’ in his honour.
Harry Potter and Love Actually fans are particularly devastated with the news of Rickman’s passing this morning, as he’s remembered as a legend in the acting world.
Now, Harry Potter fans are choosing to honour the passing of their beloved Severus Snape by posting images of one scene in particular to Twitter.
In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, teachers and students of Hogwarts raise their lit wands into the air in tribute after the death of Albus Dumbledore.
Fans are now sharing images and GIFs of the moving scene on social media.
Rest in Peace, dear Snape.
