Ex-Pink Floyd singer/guitarist David Gilmour, who recently kicked off a North American tour in support of his 2015 solo album, Rattle that Lock, visited ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! with his backing band last night to play a few tunes.

This marked the first time David has appeared on a U.S. television show since he visited The Tonight Show with Jay Leno 10 years ago.

Gilmour performed the title track to Rattle that Lock to close out the show, and he also played a version of Pink Floyd’s acoustic-driven classic “Wish You Were Here” that can be viewed online as an Internet exclusive.

In addition, David played two other tunes  his solo song “In Any Tongue” and Pink Floyd’s “High Hopes” — which according to his official wesbite will premiere on Kimmel sometime in June.

Gilmour kicked off the North American leg with a trio of shows in the Los Angeles area during the past week. His next concert takes place on Thursday, March 31, in Toronto.
