Sir Elton John is the most charitable British celebrity after donating millions of dollars to worthy causes last year.
The Rocket Man star is the highest-ranking celebrity on The Sunday Times Giving List 2015, which tracks the philanthropy of Britain’s super-rich.
John donated a massive $38 million (£26.8 million) to various organisations, including his own Elton John AIDS Foundation, both in Britain and the US.
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling comes in second place after raising $14 million for her two charities – the Lumos Foundation, a children’s organisation, and the Volant Charitable Trust, aiming at supporting multiple sclerosis research.
Also making the annual list are former soccer star David Beckham, One Direction, Queen rockers Brian May and Roger Taylor, Coldplay and Ringo Starr.
