Duncan Jones has paid tribute to his late father David Bowie, on what would have been his 70th birthday.
The 45-year-old film director took to Twitter to share beautiful photos of his father as a child and holding him as a baby.

His heartfelt tweet touched on the fact that Bowie never got to meet his first grandchild, Stenton David Jones, who was born on 10 July last year.
Bowie died just days after his 69th birthday, on January 10th, 2016 after a private battle with cancer.
His wife, Iman, also took to social media to pay tribute to her late husband on his would-be 70th birthday in the lead up to his death anniversary.
The 61-year-old model shared a beautiful sketch of Bowie on Instagram, which depicts Bowie as a child – with Aladdin Sane make-up and his distinctive mismatched eyes.
“Jan 8th #ForeverLove #BowieForever” she captioned the post.
Iman also shared a stunning black and white photo of herself and Bowie embracing on the beach. The photo featured the hashtag #BowieForever.
Iman and Bowie married in 1992, before welcoming their daughter, Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones in 2000.
