Dolly Parton has found the little girl who will play her in the upcoming NBC TV movie, Coat of Many Colors, a project she is executive producing herself.

Dolly surprised seven-year-old Alyvia Lind with the good news in a video now posted online.

Lind is just about to turn 8 on July 27. She recently starred as Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig’s daughter in “A Deadly Adoption,”that aired on Lifetime. Her credits also include Showtime’s “Masters of Sex” and Amazon’s “Transparent.”

Alyvia will play Dolly as a child in 1955 growing up in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

Although NBC say its not a biopic or musical, the story is about “the tight-knit Parton family as they struggle to overcome devastating tragedy and discover the healing power of love” it’s said to be “a family-oriented faith-based story about the incidents in her and her family’s life around the time she was 9 years old.”

No air date has been announced by NBC for Coat of Many Colors.
