Aussies will be able to vote in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in history.
As an official competitor, Australia will also send a jury to to Vienna to help determine the 2015 winner.
The make-up of the jury will be revealed in early May.
Guy Sebastian will be the first ever Australian entrant, at the 60th anniversary of the contest, after the country gained a wildcard entry.
He’s also the first ever Australian Idol winner, and currently performing around Europe ahead of next months’ event, which is viewed by more than 200 million people across the globe.
The singer-songwriter will represent Australia with a made-to-order contemporary R&B track Tonight Again.
Sebastian earlier said the soulful song is about the special moments in life you wish would never end.
“I wanted to write a song about that feeling. I am sure that is how I am going to feel when I am in Vienna performing,” the 33-year-old said.
