Aussie athletes heading to the Olympics will be in no shortage of condoms in Rio, after the Australian Olympic Committee made a deal with manufacturers, Starpharma.
With the Zika virus scare, the Aussies are being extra cautious – offering athletes more than 1500 dual protection rubbers that also have antiviral properties for free.
That is of course in addition to the hundreds of thousands of vending machines around the Olympic village…
These athletes seemingly live by the motto of ‘work hard, play hard’.

“The Zika virus can be passed onto the female in any sexual relationship for a period of up to six months,’’ IOC President Kevan Gosper told news.com.au.
“I recommend to the AOC that they look at blood testing, two weeks after the (athletes) come out of Brazil.’’
The Olympic village has free condom-dispensing machines on every block – 350,000 male 100,000 female condoms, 175,000 sachets of lubricant.
