Mounce has been named in this years Queen’s Birthday Honour’s List for her outstanding achievements in radio and television, as well as for her community work as patron for organisations including Kidney Health Australia and Save Our Sons.
Upon receiving the news Amanda told us:
“I’m so proud to be included on this list of amazing Australians. I hope I can live up to this incredible honour. I wonder if this means I’ll have to trade in my border collie for a corgi”
Amanda is truly deserving of this award and everyone here at WSFM as well as all our listeners are so pleased for you, and say a big WELL DONE!
We’re sure that now being known as Amanda Keller OAM won’t change you, however your breakfast buddy insisting we now call him ‘Dame’ Jonesy may not stick!
Let’s take a look back at some highlights of Amanda’s media career that have contributed to her being recognised today.
