Alec Baldwin has agreed to stop mocking the President-elect on one condition – that he release his tax returns.
Baldwin has an ongoing role on Saturday Night Live playing Donald Trump. The latest sketch shows his character being too engrossed by Twitter to pay attention at a security meeting.
The SNL sketch made fun of Trump’s recent decision to retweet a series of unsubstantiated claims about voter fraud from his supporters — including a 16-year-old boy.
Donald Trump took to Twitter – seemingly without a sense of irony – to criticise the scene as “unwatchable”.
“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live — unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad”
Baldwin, however, clapped back in stunning form.
Release your tax returns and I’ll stop.
