AC/DC’s lead singer Brian Johnson has been in limbo after he was forced to leave the band’s world tour due to a serious hearing problem that saw him being replaced by Axl Rose earlier this year.
Johnson, who recorded ten albums with the band has previously hosted a TV show highlighting his love of cars, and is currently recording his first solo album.
Now it’s been revealed that Johnson is about to get into radio, with news that he will host a new online program called The Producers.
Johnson said in a statement:
“Having been fortunate to work alongside some of the best producers in rock, it’s great to be part of this show.”
“To be able to shine a light on how a producer captures a moment in the studio and turns it into rock ‘n’ roll dynamite, is great. Being able to listen to these guys talk about what they do best is a joy.”
Recently Johnson spoke of his hope that he may eventually return to performing live.
“My doctors have told me that I can continue to record in studios and I intend to do that,” he said.
“I am hoping that in time my hearing will improve and allow me to return to live concert performances. While the outcome is uncertain, my attitude is optimistic. Only time will tell.”
